Initial Consultation

The initial consult takes place in your home so we can meet your pets, learn their routines, and ensure both parties are the right fit.  You must fill out your online profile completely before the meeting so the Client Profile, Pet Profile Service Agreement, and Cancellation Policy can be reviewed, and any questions you have answered. Consultation is complimentary only if services are contracted. If services are not contracted there is a $25 charge at the time of your consultation. Two copies of your house key must be provided with payment in full. If you do not have two copies, another can be created for a $10 charge. The first meeting is complimentary; we are happy to provide additional consults for a full visit fee. Please contact us if you have questions about the consultation process.

Payment

First-time clients must make full payment during the consultation visit. Established clients have the option of paying by online bank transfer, credit card, or check sent in the mail. Please do not leave payment in your home. Payment is due no later than the first date of service; invoices will be subject to a $10 late fee for every 10 days the invoice is overdue.

Cancellations & No Shows

In order to best serve your needs, the strict cancellation policy is as follows – Pet sitting visits are subject to a two week cancellation period. Overnight visits are subject to a four week cancellation period. Regular dog walking appointments can be canceled by 8 am the day of without incurring a charge; if your dog is not home during your regular appointment, you will be charged full visit price. The cancellation period begins on the first day of the service period. You will be responsible for half the invoice if canceled within this time period.

Online Reservations and Profile

We have a super convenient online software that makes it so easy to request care for your pets! You must use the online scheduling program to book your visits. This helps us keep communications clear and in one place, instead of across text, email, and phone. It is your responsibility to keep your profiles up to date; this is what our pet sitters use to care for your animals to your specifications. If you need to cancel, you must call the office. No exceptions.

Additional Persons in Your Home

To ensure the safety of your pets and home, you must notify us of any persons who have access during the service period. We are happy to collaborate with family members, friends, or neighbors. However, we cannot be held responsible for missed/extra feedings or medications, pets escaping, etc if we share care. Failure to comply will result in a breach of contract, as our insurance does not permit such situations.

Minimum Requirements for Visits

All cats and other pets will be visited no less than once per day if we are the primary caretakers. No exceptions will be made. This is for the health and well-being of your pets, and the safety of your home.
